Coastal Tails Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Coastal Tails. By signing up for our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all clients participating in our open enrollment classes, training programs, and using our facilities and services.
2. Open Enrollment Classes
Enrollment: Coastal Tails offers open enrollment classes, allowing clients to join at any time. New participants will start their classes on the following Monday after signing up.
Class Blocks: Clients sign up for classes in 6-week blocks. Each block includes a series of sessions designed to provide comprehensive training and support.
Class Schedule: There will be no classes on the first Monday and Tuesday of each month to accommodate orientation classes and give our students a regular break. Regular classes will resume from the second week.
3. Class Pass and Expiration
Class Pass Validity: Each class pass is valid for a total of 10 weeks from the start date. This period allows for flexibility in attendance while ensuring clients complete their training within a reasonable timeframe.
Expiration Notification: Clients will receive a notification when their class pass is approaching expiration. It is the client's responsibility to complete their classes within the 10-week period.
No Refunds: Coastal Tails has a no-refund policy for unused classes. Clients are encouraged to attend all sessions to get the full benefit of the program. In exeptional circumstances you can pass on your unused classes to another client.
4. Attendance
Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for the success of the training program. Clients are encouraged to attend all scheduled classes within their block.
RSVP: All clients must RSVP in Whatsapp group to confirm their attendance. Once a class reaches 6 students, additional students will need to book for the following week.
Flexibility: Coastal Tails provides great flexibility in class attendance and a generous timeframe to use the classes. There is no make-up class policy.
5. Orientation Classes
Orientation: There is time each month dedicated to orientation classes. These sessions are designed to introduce new clients to Coastal Tails’ training methods, facility, and staff.
Attendance: All new clients must attend a 45-minute orientation lesson, which can be private or shared with another student. Returning students do not need to take the introduction lesson but may do so as a refresher.
6. Age Requirements
Handlers: No one under the age of 16 is permitted to be a handler for a dog during classes.
Minors: Clients under the age of 18 must have an adult present at all times during classes.
Children: If small children are attending classes, clients must inform Coastal Tails in advance. Children need to be quiet and respectful during sessions to ensure a conducive learning environment for all.
7. Payment and Refund Policy
Payment: Full payment for the 6-week block is required at the time of enrollment. Payments can be made online via our website, bank transfer or cash.
Refunds: Coastal Tails does not offer refunds for missed classes or unused class passes. In exceptional circumstances, clients may request a credit towards future classes, which will be granted at the discretion of Coastal Tails.
